Westbrook Estates History

The land that is now Westbrook Estates was annexed to the city of Edmonton in 1960. Most of the houses in the area were built in the 1960s (56.8%) and 1970s (28.4%). The remaining 14.8% were built after 1986. The neighbourhood overlooks the Whitemud Creek Ravine to the west, northwest, and southwest and is bounded on the east by 119 Street, on the north by 39 Avenue.
