ABOUT ARGYLL

Argyll is a community located in South Central Edmonton, east of 83rd Street and north of 63rd Avenue, or Argyll Road. Crossing into sought-after Mill Creek Ravine with ample green space to enjoy, the region spans an area of 36 hectares and is one of the smallest neighbourhoods in the city, with roughly 340 residences and a rough population of 800 people. This is a small, mature, quaint community, so real estate is scarce, currently comprised of primarily single-family homes built in the 1950s, with some infills built in the last 10 years closer to the Mill Creek Ravine. The area is adjacent to larger arteries that travel north-south, and east-west for easy access throughout the city. The neighbourhood is located in the Papastew Ward, with a balance of nearby residential and industrial areas.   The neighbourhood age demographic is predominantly 50+, with an influx of younger families joining the community in the newer infills. For higher quality, single-family homes in this neighbourhood, buyers can expect to pay upwards of $400,000, with an estimated price of $400 per square foot. If buyers are interested in putting in some work, pre-loved homes are available for closer to $300,000.
